Hello, all. Well, the power of PV worked its magic again! Vet's office called. Suki is awake, alert and the best of all possible news -- the tumor was a benign lipoma. The vet said she was not satisfied with yesterday's needle biopsy because she wasn't 100% sure she had been able to get the needle directly into the center of the tumor. It was growing in such a way that it made it very difficult for her to get a good enough sample to her satisfaction. So she felt that given Suki's age, the Pug breed's tendency to develop Mast Cell and the fact that I had noticed it had grown in the past month from when I first saw it, she thought it best to take it out now. I couldn't agree more. I am so relieved. Suki has an incision about 2" long with 5 or 6 stitches which will come out in 10 days. Thank you all so much for your prayers, concern, and good thoughts and wishes. PVers are AWESOME! Suki is sending each and every one of you a big. We're getting ready to go bring her home.

Thanks, Everyone. I am soooooooo relieved! My biggest problem now is trying to keep her calm. She's behaving like her usual rambunctious self! And looking at me like "Hey, mom, did you forget something today? Like my food?" The vet said to wait until dinner time to feed her and I can tell she's starved.

Glad all went well. Roxi was bouncing off the walls before she left the vet after being spayed and having her nares opened...it has been very hard to keep her calm. Good luck keeping Suki settled and happy she is doing so well.
