Hi,
We have a 12 week old Pug (Frankey)
She came home and her stools were fine. Since then she had the trotts.
Been giving her boild chicken and white rice and the stools are all greasy on the outside. When i pick them up the stain the grass. (Sorry for being so graphic)
any ideas on whats wrong.
She is booked into the vets this week for her 1st jab and deworming.
Could it be worms?
She is ok in her self drinking any playing just fine.
Pups that age can go down hill rather quickly so I would take her straight to the vets. Thankfully she's not showing any other outward signs so hopefully it's not serious. Have you changed her food from what the breeder was feeding? That's usually the most common culprit. A pup her age should be getting PREMIUM puppy food three times a day, along with a variety of things like a little scrambled egg; plain rice; a little pasta; maybe some plain, non-fat yogurt; - check with the breeder as there is a whole list of healthy additives you can give them on top of the BEST commercial food you can buy. Most important thing is to change the food from what the breeder was giving VERY SLOWLY, gradually increasing the ratio over a week or so.
Most important now though to get the vet to check her out.

We almost lost Wally as a pup to diarrhea - he had eaten the leaf of a Peace Lily that the emergency clinic insisted was not toxic. Between 10 that night and 8 the next morning when we got him to his own vet, he was terribly dehydrated with diarrhea and needed subcutaneous rehydration, even though he was still acting like a silly puppy. Please take your pup in asap and don't wait for the scheduled appointment! Wally has always had a tricky stomach, and we had to fiddle around (slowly) with a few different foods before we found one that he can eat without these little upsets.
Best of luck!

Will this be her first deworming? If so, she should have been wormed at least twice, before you even got her from the breeder. Considering that fact, I would hazard a guess that she is full of internal parasites. She needs to be checked for hook, round, and whipworm, but they also need to check her for coccidia, which affects a lot of puppies, and can cause horrid stools. You may also want her checked for giardia.
You need to take her in right away though, and not wait till next week, especially, if she has had no vaccinations.
Another thing I worry about, in a 12 week old unvaccinated puppy, is Parvovirus, which can quickly kill a puppy. That's another reason for not waiting till later, to get her checked. she should have already had at least one vaccination, before going to her new hoome.
