Default SOLUTION for pug gas...any thoughts?

yesterday Zeus got some fresh fruits and veggies and today he is really gassy...last night had to cover his butt so I could get some sleep with the smell..
today he is still pretty gassy..
is there something that helps this

The less carbs they get, the less gas....generally. Try cutting out or down the fruit and veggie treats. Or switch him to a grain free diet.

As another positive, the poops are smaller and very firm.

    Take care,

I have found that the yogurt does help pretty quickly. Have you tried lighting an unscented candle? Apparently the burning wick pulls a lot of odor from the air without just covering it up. (assuming that there's not enough methane to cause an explosion!!) I've found it works for all kinds of nasty kitchen smells.

Oh Pat, I feel your pain LOL! Between Hoss the Lab and the 2 Pug's there is always some sort of "odor" in the air LOL, especially after they've eaten green beans or broccoli!! I feed them plain, non-fat yogurt and it really helps! Other than that I suggest you keep pulling those covers over his hiney!

When we have an outbreak of flatulence with the dogs, my hubby and I (both Sci fi geeks) warn each other by saying "the force is strong in this one"....

If you pull the covers up, just don't peek under them later without flapping first!!!!!

    LOL
