    Default Please help!!!!!!!!!

    We just got our pug slimer neutered and it's been a day and his sack is red and swollen is this normal or should I rush him to the 24 hour vet?

    I cannot help you there.....I don't remember when I had Solo and Kelev neutered as it was a long time ago.

    If it were me...I'm a worrier....I would be calling and asking them about it!!! I think I'd remember if they were red and swollen!!! My ER will tell me that it's normal..or not....

    That is not normal, likely infected. Please get him to ER vet.

    We called 2 one said hot compress if it's still bad In the morning come in. The other said
    Bring him in. Not sure what to do.

    When I'm in doubt, I go. I know my Otis was never like that
    when he was done. Try the warm compress, you should be
    able to tell if it's helping, but it sounds like infection.

    I would take him in! My motto...better safe than sorry!!!!!! You'll hate yourself if you wait and it's something. He has to be in pain....and you don't want that!

    I agree -- take him in. Wally's never got red, and you don't want a surgical infection left untreated for any length of time.

    We took him to the vet they said he was fine and gave us some antibiotics. He is back to his normal self just a little swollen.
