Justice has tried to poop twice with no sucess. Do you think he could have a blockage or something?? What else should I look for before I start freaking out??!!

When I was worried about a blockage they said to look for hard distended abdomen, thin poop...like it comes out in a pencil shape, vomiting, and signs of pain.
He ended up fine, so I haven't actually witnessed it. Not being able to go would worry me, so hopefully someone else chimes in!

I'd perhaps think simple first ... constipation.
An OTC stool softener, Colace or the generic, may be the ticket.
Blockages present as Krystal writes ... and are typically painful.

He might be constipated?? Could be a blockage! Sometimes it's hard to know the difference!
I had a pup...I forget how old he was...not more than 12 weeks...if even that. He screamed! I thought one of the bigger guys stepped on him. I put him in the puppy room for them to go to sleep. In an hour...I went in and the girls came to me...he didn't. He finally did come, but when I touched him he screamed!
Off to the vet! He thought blockage too! They xrayed...found a bunch of poop!!!! I was lucky!!!! I don't know what to tell you about helping him...as the vet told me my boy was ready to poop at any time! Must have held it all day or something as I worked that day!
He looks like a pup........I don't mess with puppies.....If he tries to go again and cannot...or seems uncomfortable..I'd be off to the vet!
Seeing good outcomes!
I used to give my YOUNG pups a warm water flush....and that would make them poop easily...If he's home with you...I wouldn't suggest it!!!
Do you have a good ER near you that you can call? Ask them what to use to try and get him to poop......you want him comfy soon if he's straining (which I don't like)

Pumpkin! Or, if he doesn't mind it, steamed veggies mixed into food!
No advice, just sending good thoughts for justice.

Those are good to keep him going or to get him going....but not when he's trying to go! If he's trying to go...he's either stuck with poop...or something else is there.....

O.K. He has not pooped yet, but hasn't been trying to either. He acts perfectly fine, playing wide open, then sleeping, like always. :o) He doesn't act like anything hurts, so should I just wait and see? The Emergency Vet is over an hour away.

will they chat with you over the phone for a few minutes?
When KC had gastric distress ... I thought he was dying, he ate a brass bit from my purse strap - that he also ate ... the one in tulsa was pretty helpful in giving me things to watch for and when to get him there.
