We had to dealy Dumpling's spay and now she is in heat. How long after her heat should I wait to have her spayed? Any tips for managing her and how long it should last?

She needs to be kept away from males for at least 3 wks to a month.....And bathed after that!

You have 6 months in between heats....so....I'd wait at least another month or 2 to get her spayed.

They sell cute panties....I think they're the cheapest. I get the woman's liners at the dollar store! I change every time they go outside.

Thank you!! We leash her at all times and she does her business in our yard. Now to explain the panties to the kids..LOL!!!!

She might not like them...so get two pairs .....you usually need to wash.

The woman that has Leah is using disposable doggy diapers....They cost a lot more!!!

Be aware...that male dogs can smell her for about a mile!!! So you might have dogs hanging around your house...
She might have to go potty more often...

Make sure your kids don't let her get out without a leash!
