    Default Sand in Eyes

Did a quick search and failed to find anything. Does anyone have a problem with their pugs getting sand in their eyes at the beach? What do you do?

You can use Genteal Severe eye gel. I always keep it with me at the beach.

I live in a beach community and my mom brings Chloe about 4 times a week. So far, I haven't had an issue with sand in her eyes. When she was a wee pup, I did use the eye gel mentioned above. I find that the sand mostly congregates in her nose roll, I clean it out after each visit to the beach.

I flush his eyes out with eye wash (basically saline) and then I put drops in for dry eyes. I don't take him to the beach anymore in the summer because it was ALWAYS getting in his eyes. I did buy some doggles but he hates them. Or I walk him to the water and try not to let him touch dry sand.
