Get the vet to have a look at his ears as it is quite possible he has an infection or ear mites. The vet will advise on what (if any) medication is appropriate and also on a cleaning regime thereafter. The nose licking is probably nothing to worry about but it might be worth having a close look at his nose roll in case that is bothering him. Normally they would paw the face if there is a nose roll problem but always worth checking.

Sounds like an ear infection, let us know what your vet says.

    Hope he's better soon.

If he has yeast issues it could be caused by a food allergy, particularly if the food is not grain free. Check the ingredients of the food and if one of the major ingredients (first 3 or 4 listed) is wheat or corn you might want to consider trying another food.

Agreed. Buddy had yeast infections off and on for a long time until we realized that it was probably a food allergy/intolerance. We switched over to Taste of the Wild, a grain free kibble, and he hasn't had a problem since. I would really look into that if you haven't already.
