    Default Ella's Eye Bumps

Hi everyone! I'm a brand new Pug puppy owner to a beautiful little girl, Ella.

About a week and half ago I noticed a small deviation on my girlies lower eye lid. Two days later it had ballooned up to a full blown red bump. Her 12 weeks vaccination was the next day and we had our vet look at it. She wasn't sure what it was but didn't seem to concerned as it wasn't irritating her or growing on the inside of the eye lid. By the next evening the single bump had spread across her entire lower lid. This all coincided with her having a nasty bout of diarrhea.

Well Monday rolled around and I took her back to the vet to get the diarrhea under control and to have another look at the eye. Well when we were there the vet noticed she had another bump forming on the other eye lower lid in the exact same place the first bump appeared. She gave us some eye ointment to try and help. By the time I got home from the vet I noticed ANOTHER bump on her upper eye.

I've been applying the ointment as directed and it seems like its helping (I think) but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this problem and could tell me maybe what it is? The bumps don't seem to be bothering her at all but its a little concerning to me.

I've attached a picture for a better visual :) Thanks for any advice :)

Never seen it..the upper one looks a bit like a pimple. I wonder if a surface culture can be obtained.

Hello & to the village! Cute girl you have.I don't have any advice for you on what the bumps are but I don't mess with eyes. I'd see a vet opthalmologist.

Puppies get little bumps.....but if it's spreading, I'd be concerned. Is there another vet in the practice that you might see?
