    Default Not drinking enough water?

I've noticed that Emma's skin on her tummy seems to be sticking together quite often. I've also tested her hydration via her scruff. I just tested now. And it took about 4 seconds for it to flatten out.

How can I encourage her to drink more?

If you're not already "floating" her food in warm water, start doing that. If she won't drink plain water, try adding a bit of chicken broth or other appealing flavor to it.

    Flood her food with water.

Make it like soup with the food floating.

    Take care,

I flood Tinker's food with water and I put water in a small dish several times a day with broth, a pinch of tuna or canned chicken to get her to drink more. I always have her regular water dish filled but she seldoms drinks from it which I'm sure contributed to her developing stones. You're smart to fix the problem before something developes.

Water packed tuna from a can.I pour a little of the water from the can and add a pinch of tuna.Put the rest in a container and store in frig. A 6oz can lasts me about a week.I try to do the tuna about 1 week a month because tuna is a high mercury fish.
