So Im in discussions with a lady who wants to rehome her 3 yr old pug who has seizures on an infrequent basis. She told me its happened 2-3 times in the last couple years that she has had her. She apparently has also has some skin issues which Im sure is diet. My question is are the seizures cause for major concern? My little Coco already has problems with crystals and is now on a prescription diet. Just wondering if I need to prepare for more vet bill?!
Oh and here are some more pics :)
She had to wear this for a couple of weeks after getting a corneal ulcer :( Our kitty Sasha in the background
Coco has been picking up bad habits from the hubs lol!
One never knows with new dogs. Have you talked to her vet to make sure that is what is going on? I've become less trustful of people!
Others will pipe in on the possible cost of meds if they are ever needed.
Thanks! It has been like pulling teeth to get info out of this lady I have just been texting her so far, it has taken me 2 days of texting to get her to tell me why they are rehoming her (3 kids one on the way, not time story) Sent her a message requesting a meeting with her over an hour ago and no response...methinks there is something fishy here and my instinct is telling me to keep looking for a playmate for Coco.
Go with your gut! She might be busy...and might get back to you.
Ask for her vet's number!
Always trust your instincts!

Some siezure meds are inexpensive.Try asking if you can pay for a vet visit. If not, I'd contact a local rescue.
