Time to buy the new bottle and just wondering before spending $50-$80 is there a less expensive alternative to Cosequin DS? local stores sell for $80 and online I see it for 50+. It's not a problem to get, just wondering if there is something less costly.
I have purchased through Amazon, or the last time through Costco (which ever is cheaper at the time). I will be watching this thread, I am sure Lisa has a cheaper alternative.

Cosequin DS is really, really good stuff and independently tested to contain what it says it does. But dang, it's expensive! Especially with ten dogs needing it. So, I use quality Glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM human supplements....but I'd rather use the Cosequin.
Take care,
Lisa

The Vet had originally started her on Desequin, basically same thing different maker, similar price.
Do you think the chewies are any better? She currently considers the half-tab in her dinner as a treat :) Good thing for a picky eater!
My pugs consider it a treat too.
