Default My pug's SWOLLEN wrinkles??????? HELP

Hi guys I am very confused with this situation. The vet said (about a week I showed her but it wasn't as swollen as right now) it was normal, nothing wrong with it. But last night it was to the max and I took a picture and though I'd share it will all you pug owners. My other pug, Chata, who is in Spain, never had this.

Check it out and let me know what you think it is:

Doesn't look normal to me,could be fungal or yeast since it's in her nose roll. Are you opposed to a second opinion from another vet(see if they are used to dealing with pugs)?Lisa has a homemade recipe for cleaning ears and nose rolls. I use Stridex pads for sensitive skin with aloe on Tinker. You also might want to see if her food has grain in it and get her a grain free one.

How frequently, with what, and how do you clean her nose roll? what are you feeding her, including treats)?

    Take care,

Dumpling gets nose fold yeast. Smell it and see if has an odor, but sill take the dog to the vet. If it has an odor mention it to the vet. I clean out Dumpling's nose fold with Douxo wipes, sometimes as I get get to the outside of the nose roll near her cheeks, if I don't wipe it out well enough, bacteria and or yeast collect there and she gets a sim. thing going on. She also used to get a ton of "pug pimples" in general on her face which I later found out were from food allergies. I changed around her diet and she rarely gets them anymore, unless the kids feed the mooching pug something she should not eat.
I hope your wee pug is on the mend in no time.

I use Stridex for Sensitive Skin also but also use NeoPredef powder from the vet as needed in my girl with the really deep nose roll fold.

Gordie had a similar situation. Vet called it a yeast skin infection. He kept rubbing his face with his paws.

Do a search for tea tree oil and you should bring up my recipe. It will clear that up if you use it daily for a couple weeks, then use it once a week after that. You might consider a lower carb food, carbs breed yeast and dogs don't digest them well.

Hi guys! So here is what the vets have said (2 independent vets said the same thing)
apparently the breeder did surgery on my girl! she opened her nostrils by an incision.... is this a normal thing with pugs?
the pet store i got her at says no such surgery happened (no record of it) so, it's kinda weird.

The are is no longer swollen or red, but its not quite hairy, the vet says it will never be cos it's scar tissue
