Thanks for this link. I am new pug owner to a 12 week old male, Frankie. He's been chewing on the leaves of my lily of the valley, and sure enough, it's on that list! He also chews the little white flower weeds in my yard. Any idea if those are toxic? It seems nothings safe!
For a long time I knew that my inside plants are toxic. I have them all having from the ceiling or on top of my china cabinet. That has worked to keep them out of reach of cat, dog, and kid.

My goodness that list is lloooonnnggg really makes you think. There were tons of old plants on our property when we bought it and I ripped most of them out because they were ugly and now I see them on that list so I'm sure glad I did for more reason that one! I don't keep house plants because I am always worried I will get the wrong kind and it will be harmful for my pets. My cat especially likes to chew on plants.

Is there a list of pet safe plants anywhere? It will be easier for me to take a list of petsafe plants when I shop that way I know what I am getting is ok. I am going to be putting in a lot of plants too because we pretty much ripped everything out. I do have a begonia out front and calla lilies but the dogs are not allowed in the front without supervision because it's not fenced and the street is just right there. So I don't really worry too much because they will never be alone with those plants and don't even really go out there. But the back is a concern for sure.

Excellent information. We sometimes forget that seemingly harmless things can be lethal to our pugs.

I've had a good look at this list - pretty scary ! The only plants we have on our terrace are bouganvillea....I didn't see that on the list....which is great, as I caught Yoda chewing it ! I have de-thorned them haha

Oh my! That is a long list! Was super thankful dandelions weren't on it because some lil pug of mine is obsessed with running through the yard & biting all the white puffed dandelions! Even before they turned to that form, I was constantly pulling the dandelion heads out of her mouth! Have no idea why, but she loves them!
