Question Elongated Palate/ Stenotic nares surgery cost?

I am taking Daisy to get a surgical consultation for palatal reduction surgery and stenotic nares surgery. Have any of you gotten this surgery done on your pugs? How much does it generally cost. I want to go in to this consultation with as much knowledge about the procedure as possible so that I can ask the vet any questions that I might have and so that I can make sure that he knows what he is doing! Your input is much appreciated! Thank you!

This will vary from region to region...It all depends on where you live.

Ihasan will be having the stenotic nares done next month. Our vet is doing it at the same time he gets neutered (both by laser) and the cost is combined. But the nares cost roughly $100. We asked the vet for an estimate and they gave us a peice of paper all printed out in detail with cost of the both procedures.

Lulu had both procedures (ESP and stenotic nares) done last month for $900. We live in Chicago.

Balboa had just the ESP surgery done just outside of Baltimore. It cost just under $300. That included all the good stuff - pre-op tests, constant monitoring during the surgery, post op antibiotic and pain, plus home meds.

Thank you so much for replying! I will see how much this vet thinks it will cost. I just don't want to get ripped off, but I also want her to get the best treatment! Thanks again!
