Default Flea Problem -- And a question about PetaPotty

Otto has fleas. Which is odd, because he is on Frontline (which the veterinarian said is working). However we live in a condo complex, and take him out to the only availble dog run. Apparently he is picking up fleas there (which get on my cat and in my home).

The vet says that they should die in 18 hours, but they aren't. She says he must be picking them up from outside.

Theoretically, if they are going to die within 18 hours from contact with otto, they shouldn't be infesting my cat (or my house).

I have sprayed and powdered the house, my cat has a flea collar, and i flea comb the dog and cat everynight. Spray the dog and cat everynight (getting really worried about excessive chemicals).

I was thinking, if he is getting them from the only dog run in our building, that maybe we should try out www.petapotty.com .. But I am unsure if Otto will 'take' to it on our large patio.

    Has anyone else used this?

I also heard that giving garlic to dogs will help with fleas. I haven't seen any garlic supplements in the pet store.

    Searching for answers, please help.

We haven't used petapotty, but we did use www.poochpotty.com for years before we moved into a house with a yard. If you check out their website, the pictures of the two pugs are actually Chester and Bruno.

That company was wonderful, and the owner, Cathy, used to foster pugs. We had a 4' x 4' plastic sod box and the sod was changed weekly (had two pugs using it). It took Chester about 30 seconds to pee in on the sod after it was installed and Bruno just followed Chester's lead. Having the sod box was a lifesaver for us.
