Anyone in the Ft Worth Area heard of the Fireplug Inn

My fiannce and I are about to leave for 5 days. (going to Vegas to get married) And though I would like to take the boys on our trip, that is not going to happen. I have done some searching and looking around and have found a place called the fireplug inn. A very nice doggie hotel for dogs under 25lbs. We took the boys there Saturday and they had a blast. 4 hours of play time with other doggies.....let me tell you they slept for 9 hours straight...wore them out.

Anyway just wondering how they will handle us being gone, side effects and if anyone has used this servcie before. thanks

Is that the one in Southlake?

If so, I've not used them, but I have heard good things about them - they were recommended to me by several folks when I was looking for a place to kennel my pugs.

Yes they are in south lake. I like them and the boys seemed to as well. Where did you board yours when you did it???

I used a vet's office - Advanced Animal Care on 121 and Harwood Road (in the HEB area). Or my vet @ Harwood Road. Fireplug sounds like a much better set up though - Southlake was just too far for me to drive to drop them off.

But now that I have three, I use my petsitter because it's cheaper than boarding all of them, plus they get to stay at home. Depending on where you are in Ft Worth, he may be able to add you in. Or recommend someone else who handles your area.

And you need to join us for Pug playtime too!!! We meet at the Petsmart at Eastchase on Sundays around 5:15pm. Pretty much every Sunday...
