Default Hypothyroidism in Dogs (good article)

As I researched hypothyroidism in dogs due to Gumpy, I came across this good article:

    http://www.peteducation.com/article....&articleid=449

Gumpy has several of the symptoms, including high cholesterol, which I found out about when the vet called me the first time with Gumpy's initial blood results (The thyroid test hadn't come back yet).

Thank goodness one of my old pugs has something treatable.

He ate a good breakfast this morning, and likes me hiding the pills in turkey breast meat. Of course, who wouldn't??

Thanks for sharing, and I have bookmarked that site, as I have a cat I swear has Hypertyroid, but the test came back normal. An overweight cat his whole life can eat and eat and not gain weight now???

Anyway thanks for the info, it's bookmarked right next to your anal gland thesis, LOL
