    Default cruddy wrinkles

Lucky's wrinkles have always been fine. i can do the 2 thumb swoop, to get the eye boogies and then we clean em once a week in his bath (the vet told me to bathe him that much due to allergies and we use special shampoo)

anyway... Ace's are another story. he too gets a bath every week and as thorough a wrinkle cleaning as we can. throughout the week, when they look extra grimey, i try to clean them with wipes. but it seems like no matter what, his wrinkles are still cruddy. they get like flakey and cruddy.... but they don't seem to be too dry cuz his eyes are ALWAYS watering!! I feel so bad scraping his little face but i don't know what else to do... any tips??

His wrinkles are probably cruddy *because* his eyes are always watery. If it gets damp in there, it can cause problems. Maybe if you switched to something like Malaseb Pledgets or Stridex pads, it would help the cruddiness from forming.

How old is Ace? I ask because Lemon used to have constantly watery eyes, but she either grew out of it as her head shape changed, or her current diet did the trick.

Have you tried the Malaseb pledglets? That is what everyone here recommends. I am having the same problem with Olivia so she is currently on a topical antibiotic and it cleared her wrinkles up almost immediately. So we are doing daily cleanings now and wiping her wrinkles with a dry cloth every couple hours (her eyes water a lot too). Good luck!

we've been using cheap wipes, so it looks like malaseb pledgets it is.... anyone know a cheap place to get them??

Ace turned 1 in Nov. i sure hope he grows out of this! I feel like people will look at him and think, "eww, his mommy sure doesn't take care of him!"

Best price i have seen is $9.99 for 60 count. Some websites have free shipping but charge an extra few dollars for the products, here is one place you can get them
