    Default Shampoo for the Pugs

Does anyone out there have a favorite shampoo for your pug that smells good? I have bought and bought shampoos and they smell good in the bottle, but that smell doesn't transfer over to the pug. I can take them to the vet and get them bathed and they smell wonderful for days. Anyone know of a great smelling shampoo?

I use H/S shampoo by Glen Haven, it's hypo-allergenic and won't wash off flea and tick medicine. I think it smells good in the bottle and on my little guys.

I use Cloud Star Buddy Wash and Buddy Rinse on my guys. It's really gentle and has a nice, clean scent. They also make a leave in conditioner called Buddy Splash that you can use to freshen the scent. I use Bio Groom Hypoallergenic Tearless shampoo on their heads, because they struggle a lot and I am afraid of getting the Buddy Wash in their eyes or ears.

There is a shampoo by Lambert Kay that is supposed to have a long lasting scent, but I can't recommend it because when I used it with my two, they broke out in a scabby rash. Ick!

Love the EarthBath Mango Tango. Roxane (pugsavers) bought the EarthBath Orange Appeal last night at my emergency vet's office and it smelled yummy!

I just bathe mine in Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo and smells good. I keep 3 main shampoo at all times: J&J baby shampoo, Adams Flea & Tick and Malaseb shampoo. Any others are spa treatment.

I use Nova Pearls! It helps with Ozzy's dry skin, and it smells REALLY good!

My girl got fixed yesterday and was in a cage for nearly 24 hours and she smells pretty bad right now. I have some Hartz Groomer's Best Puppy Shampoo, is this stuff decent? I bought it at Walmart when she was a puppy.

I'm willing to buy something new, but the only stores nearby that sell dog shampoo would be Walmart and Kmart (I live over 50 miles away from a Petsmart). Does Walmart carry anything half decent, or is the shampoo I already have good enough?
