I too use this treatment and it is WONDERFUL!! I put Tyson up on the counter top where I normally do his grooming stuff, and if he shakes his head before I can get tissues over them, it does splatter. If I wipe it up quick enough though, it doesn't stain. If you have white walls in your laundry room, doing it outside might not be a bad idea though. I've also thought about whether or not using it on the skin for yeast would be effective. Tyson licks his feet a lot, so in between his toes get a little yeasty from time to time, and I've though about applying it with a q-tip in between his toes. I don't know if it would be effective, but I might give it a shot.
Just another tip, when I first printed the Blue Power packet to read, I was a little overwhelmed, but once I got to the point where I was ready to do it, it was quite simple and truly was a "miracle" product for Tyson's ears.

Hilary, do you have any suggestions on modifications for puppies? My ex-husband is in Morocco and now has 2 11-week-old German shepherd puppies. Commercial dog food there is very expensive and there's not much variety (only Purina), but he's made friends with all the butchers in town!I've emailed him the long version, but are there some simple guidelines that he could be following? He may likely end up feeding fresh raw rather than frozen, so if he knows what he's aiming for, he'll be more likely to approximate that.

I'm sorry, Ginger, but I don't and I'd have to start researching from scratch because puppies' nutritional needs are much different from adults. I believe the Breakfast Slop recipe is too high in calcium for growing puppies. Try some internet searches and make sure you are using reliable sources. Try http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/rawfeeding/ as a starting point and ask other members if they can provide you with information. Good luck.

This has got to be the greatest debate, hun? I have been cooking for my own dogs and while I bet this IS the way to go, Mother Nature and all, but when I give my dogs a piece of raw chicken they look at me like I'm crazy!! They won't touch it.
I actually bought my dogs a Nu Wave Oven and I use that to cook their food. If I was starting over again I would go this route. I, personally, don't think dogs need carbs, only makes them fat. Does the same thing for me.
I didn't feed my dogs kibble for years but someone gave me a sample and we are back on a couple of tablespoons a day. My little ones are NOT overeaters but they seem to like this stuff which amazes me. I have done so much reading about dog diet but I met this Indian in the store one day and he looked at me and said it's a dog, it makes its own vitimins. Since that moment I have relaxed alot with these pugs and the once or twice they have seen a vet she always asks what do they eat? When I tell her she doesn't even blink and I'm pretty sure that if i told you what they eat you'd be shocked and alarmed but it took me 8 years to get to this point. The Pug "itch" is pretty well gone and yes, they all have air-born heyfever!!
These are my 1st dogs and it sure is a learning process.
So, here I am again and Chichi has pancreatitis. Out with the comerical dog food even though I am not convinced this was/is the cause.
