This isn't a moan or a cry for help, it's just a little thread to say .......
Oh my days, my lil pug puppy is wearing me out! I am shattered. She is a maniac!!!! In the sweetest way..............but she's still a maniac. I love her to bits and she is only 10 weeks old but oh la la, where does such a tiny thing get so much energy from?
And she's such a determined lil cuss. If I am around, no matter how tired she is, she won't sleep. She'll follow me round until she's virtually dropping.
I'm looking forward to the day I can let her out into the garden so she can run round and round and hopefully wear off some of that puppy energy.
Until then, I and my nipped toes, bid you a very tired good night - I'm off to snuggle my puggy babba
Edit to say - that's not me, that's lovely friend Hannah with Gertie monster, my black angel :)

Oh my, my, my! I totally feel your "pain" ! My Miss MuShu was an absolute TERROR! My vet kept telling me to "Hold on, hold on. She'll calm down as she gets older." When I asked when that might be she told me For Sure when she turns 3. THREE YEARS?!!!! Well, she was right. And MuShu is a very calm, sweet puggie now. I never would have believed it. She sure gave us some funny and interesting stories during her puppyhood but I am VERY relieved she has outgrown it! You just need to try to be patient but firm in teaching her how to behave. And just try to laugh and enjoy the antics that will eventually fade. Your puggie is a real cutie! I think the sassy ones are the smartest. But too smart for their own good sometimes!

Yup same here, 5 months old and I wanna throw our sweet little lucca out the window some days....but you guys made me feel better. Looks like she lives another day :) and your right not a day goes by where she doesn't do something that makes us laugh.
Gertie sounds like a normal pug puppy wearing her mommy out, lol. My Bella was a real terror at that age, thought I would go insane. It does get better with time!

oh man, from 8 weeks to 16 weeks Toby was...a total pain in the ass, but so freaking cute we somehow survived. He would tire eventually and he would be out like a light, but those sharp puppy teeth and his insatiable need to be entertained....and allllllllllllll the peeing, man it wore us out.
My two fat pugs! Toby rescued April 25, 2008 & Betz rescued November 15, 2009.
I know exactly what you are talking about. My pug is 11 wks old and is full of energy. She can play in the backyard with my kids for an hour, and still come in ready to play some more. This week she has got a little better at the nipping. It's mostly when she is around other people she gets so excited.
THREE YEARS !!!! Well, we've got almost 1 down with Mimi!Oh my, my, my! I totally feel your "pain" ! My Miss MuShu was an absolute TERROR! My vet kept telling me to "Hold on, hold on. Your sweetie sounds like Mimi ... but we love her all the more for it! It also makes us very thankful Buster is her total opposite!
Hang in there!
I think its the females! My Harley was an absolute ANGEL a JOY to have as a puppy. Rarley did anything wrong except the ocassional accident on the carpet. But thats to be expected with a puppy. My Roxy is a devil in Pug clothing. I've learned my lessons and will have all male Pugs in the future. Hang in there it gets better before it gets worse. I swear Roxy JUST barley started to calm down this week. And she's a year and a half old. They say they are not considered adults until they are three. For me that third birthday cannot come fast enough. Hang in there!

I dunno - Charlie is boy and he too drives me nuts sometimes...he's lucky he's got his 13 week sweetness and all my frustration gets directed to my hubby...poor guy, you'd think he's the one peeing everyone and nipping at my ankles!
