Hello again everyone!
I'm sure some of you remember previous posts from me thinking I had found the perfect pug ad for the perfect price. Well, after reading what all of you had to say, I decided to give up on finding a pug via online ads.
But then, I received an email back from one, with photos of a pug that I thought was so pretty! Turns out this one was an ad from a legitimate breeder who also shows pugs! She sent me a link to her website, and told me to fill in the application on the website. So I visited the site, looked at all of the photos of pugs she currently breeds and shows, as well as photos of pugs she has previously bred and shown. Then I filled out the super loooong application, and also asked a few questions. She emailed me back, answered my questions, and said I could visit the pug I was interested in before making a final decision.
So now I have arranged with her that on the way back from my family's camping trip we can stop in Vancouver and meet, Posie!
I am so excited, I can't wait!
She is one year old, fawn, with a double curl tail and the sweetest face I have ever seen! CKC registered and has two show points (she did not like being in shows, so the owner decided not to show her any more because she did not enjoy it.) by the way... I am unfamiliar with dog shows... what does two show points mean?
Unfortunately I am unable to post photos because I do not have permission to do so.
But if everything works out, and we love her (well, I already do love her...), and my husband gives the final 'Okay.' then I will post photos of her once we get her home with us!
***UPDATE***
Sorry I have taken so long to update this.
When we were about an hour away from the breeder's, I called her to let her know we were on our way, and she told me that she had decided to keep Posie. I was disappointed, but I was still very interested in meeting her pug puppies, so we still went to meet them.
They were only a month old, and were so tiny and precious! We met their parents, and I asked a lot of questions, then she introduced us to a 5 month old male fawn, and I had thought Posie was beautiful... well so was he! He was crazy about us, and my son and I were crazy about him, but my husband wanted to go home and talk again first. When we left the male fawn pulled towards the truck and cried, I had to jump out and say one last 'Goodbye.'
Turned out my husband had changed his mind, and wanted to wait until we got home to tell me. He wants to wait until sometime in the spring now. I tried talking with him and trying to negotiate with him, but he was firm. So I had to email the breeder and tell her he'd changed his mind. She told me that the male fawn had been very upset when we left and cried for awhile. :(
So now, I am back to waiting...

Congratulations! I know you can barely wait. You probably will have a hard time enjoying your camping trip knowing that you won't get to see "Posie"(I love that name) until AFTER the camping trip is over.
