Well, it will be permanent as long as they and/or Kobe are able.
Pugs, especially seniors, are great dogs for seniors, but there comes a time when some seniors become unable to care for a dog and the dogs begin to suffer from neglect. There is also the difficult situation when a dog outlives it's owner and is unwanted by family and friends....I think something like this helps alleviate those situations. A follow up visit by a volunteer once every couple weeks to bring food allows the volunteer to monitor the placement and provides elderly people with visitors and many REALLY need people in their lives. Someone to talk to and a dog to love and cuddle could make all the difference in their senior years.
Take care,
Lisa
