pugs at the lake! pics

Boop and Chubbs went down to Lake of the Ozarks with us for the weekend. We rented a dog friendly cabin off of vrbo.com and had a grand ol time! Boop did mistake the green bathroom mat for grass at one point...oops This is why we always travel with Natures Miracle! I have lots of pictures to share of them in their life jackets:

Boop took to the water like a fish, she wanted to head out to sea!


she took off for the neighbors hanging out on their dock/rafts


when she had her fill she swam back to the dock and it was Toby's turn!


he clung to his daddy for dear life


but eventually decided he too needed to go greet the neighbors, and ask them to stop this swimming nonsense.

Chubbs was....slightly peeved with us for the rest of the weekend.


The swimming made Boop so tired she was actually pretty sweet to her mamaface


Chubbs was homesick


Boop loved being outside in the 75 degree weather, she has been cooped up all summer for her "pug dog COPD" as we call it

a perfect evening: 2 exhausted pugs snoozing, football on the tv, and a good book!


Chubbs was still exhausted the next morning, but Boop was much more lively and ready for some belly rubs

there was more swimming that afternoon but we forgot the camera. Once again Boop was pleased as punch paddling around our little cove. Toby basically just hopped on the raft and clung to it til we pulled him out. Toby got carsick twice on the way down and once on the way back. The roads in the ozarks are windey and he has a weak tum.

Splendid pictures!! Too cute. I used to live near the Lake of the Ozarks, but I have never seen pugs swimming there. LOL That looks like fun.

Those are great! I love, love, love Chubbs and Boopers!

I especially like the transition of Boop swimming away off to the neighbors with your husband trying to keep up and then the photo of Chubbs clinging to dad for dear life! Poor Chubbs!
