I'm so sorry that Amber is having to deal with this!! It's a very hard job to begin with.....and then to add the horror of a friend or family.....Sending her a big pug hug!!!! She is lucky to have such a caring man in her life!!!

As for the crested....they seem to be very delicate when I see them at shows. I would talk to the breeder and see what she thinks! It would also depend on the personality of the pug. I would put anything with Isis or my older boys....but with Ben..it has to be a strong breed..that can take his rough play!

I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Amber has done research on the Cresties, and has been in contact with G for over 3 years. She has a "Crestie Cave" as she calls it, FULL of clothes, and other things. She just never took the leap into actually buying one. She knows about the sunscreen, and the bathing, and clipping. Id never pick out a Crestie for her, she is too picky about them! She has talked to a Therapist, and the he said she is dealing with not one, but 2 losses at one time, and its a bit overwhelmign for her, but that he thinks that after a little bit of time, she will be fine. He also thinks a Crestie is a good idea. She loves her pugs, but the pugs love this kids, and would rather play and follow them around. Ill keep everyone posted, and as soon as she gets her puppy, we will post pictures. Thanks again everyone.

Poor Amber - I am so sorry for her loss.

I can't comment on the Crested but I would have thought with careful management there is no obvious reason why it would not fit in nicely. We'll always be happy to help with any particular queries if we can.

Thanks for being there for Amber, Sean, and keeping the show on the road while she grieves.

Sounds like between the therapist, the pugs, and especially YOU, Amber is in good hands.
