Big Cuddles With Bailey

[6 Beautiful Pugs]

Poor Bailey (15-16 years old) can't sleep on the big bed. She will fall off. No spatial awareness at all. She's also a big old girl, 20 lbs. and she's incontinent....and gassy, so she doesn't get as much cuddle time as she should. I always spend a few moments with her at bedtime, give her pets and kisses down in her bed by our bed...tell her how beautiful she is and how much we love her. However she doesn't get a lot of one on one attention.

Tonight I hoisted her up into my lap on the couch and spent the better part of an hour massaging her, petting her, stroking her velvety ears and face wrinkles, talking to her and giving her my undivided attention. She was in a state of bliss, the happiness just shone from those milky old eyes. I wish I had nothing to do all day but spend time giving them all tons of attention like that every day.

I love my Bailey girl.

Kelev is only 13....he usually goes off by himself to be away from the younger ones. Whenever he comes near me...I pick him u an love on him.....
