Just a few pictures of Wonka and Nilla from the weekend, during our Pug meetup
Wonka had a great time exploring the yard. Now that the snow has mostly melted, there are plenty of new smells to investigate.
And here's Wonka playing with his friends
Nilla was very good and let people hold her and pet her again. She did put one pug in it's place when it got too sniffy at her, but it was done in a very civil manner. Here she is being held by one of the guys (not her daddy). Look at that neck roll! OMG, she looks like she's wearing a furry Elizabethan collar! LOL
After we had been there a while, Nilla decided that she wanted to go in the host's house! She waited up on their porch for someone to come along and let her in.
And here are a few of the other pugs who attended the meetup

And another recent picture that I thought was cute. I was laying on the floor and Wonka is running toward me, tongue out, paws in motion.

All the pics are cute.....but the ones of Nilla having fun.....and being held by an outsider just warms my heart!
Nilla is just gorgeous!

Yes, it warms my heart to see. I hope she'll continue this, it's such a big leap for her.
I should add that no one ever came to let her in the host's house. She stayed on their porch waiting until we made her come back into the yard, but then at the first sign of someone heading for the door she ran back up there! LOL I don't know if she just wanted to go in where it was warm or if she figured it was dinner time! Silly girl.

That's Wiggles, isn't she cute? She has the biggest nose roll I've ever seen on a pug. She's about 13 or 14 and a bit wobbly, but still has spunk!
That's Brutus.... Wonka's, um, "special friend." All the pugs like pretty Brutus. And Brutus goes cheerfully through life, oblivious that he is a boy-toy. He has the friendliest, happiest personality.

I love all these pictures!
Wish there were enough folks in our area with pugs to be interested in a Pug get together. LOL Guess I could hang a sign down by our drive way that says
