The Misadventures of Riggs the Pug
The wife and I got ourselves a pug a little over 2 1/2 years ago. I have been working for the past 4 months on creating a blog documenting the adventures our pug, Riggs has taken us on thus far. Come stop by and check it out and enjoy the humor, photos and videos. Become a follower of the blog if you would like to see what challenge the little guy throws at us next.

He ended up getting mange (aka demodex mites) twice when he was a puppy. He was on the liquid stuff for a good month or more but it did eventually go away. I guess it just took some time for his immune system to catch up and fight off the manage but it did eventually take care of itself. Our biggest problem with him is the continued battle with his allergies. :-(

Oh it was so funny. I looked at it first, then I put Audrey on my lap to watch it. Her face was like a ping pong ball going both and forth watching Riggs!!She even got close enought to the computer screen to lick it. She got so excited and her little tail was going so fast I thought it would fall off!!
I LOVE THE NAME.. now to go on the adventures!
Welcome aboard!

Yeah that's what evie has. She is 7.5 months old.
How old was Riggs when he got it?
He got it the first time when he was a little more than 4 months old and got it a second time at 8 months old.

Yeah our vet said it seems to happen to younger dogs under 12 months old..
Hopefully she only gets it once. Was Riggs getting little bald patches?

see it on her nose fold and forehead?
I believe pugs were put on this earth to lighten up our lives and give us something to smile, or laugh, about every day. Tiny has the knack of making us smile, even when things are not going so well. Pugs have such a delightful personality and so many funny, endearing features, even if it is just jumping up to try and get the last mouthful of our food, as though they are never fed!!
