Miracles do happen
After being totally blind for a month, Gus has recovered a little sight. (I did't explain earlier that it was a melting corneal ulcer in his remaining eye which presumably was already weakened, it came up from nothing in only two days). The referral vet that we go to for glaucoma did a corneal graft to try and save the eye but did not think that he could get sight back, but.........little by little! It will never be good, but he can see enough to fight his 'brother' Fidgit, chase joggers in the park and generally be his old obnoxious self. Also, I have had a trial run at coping with a blind dog as we know that he will eventually lose sight with glaucoma, and now know better how to cope.
The vet is delighted, and I think that he is supervet!
