did you just tie the fleece with a bit of fleece?

With these, I just cut a fleece square long enough and wide enough to wrap around the bottle, cut fringe on the ends and tied the ends together. They so quickly removed the water bottle that when I poked it back in, I tied the middle with another piece of fleece. For this to be a more sturdy toy, I'll have to sew the ends and probably put some velcro closure on it to keep the bottle from so easily slipping out. My rat terrier had the bottle out in 2 seconds flat. The pugs took their time, but STILL got the bottle out rather quickly.

Great idea, I wonder how long it would take my dogs to tear that apart. I bought a package of felt to make my own braided ropes, but failed miserably at it. Maybe I need to get it out again and experiment.
