Ew! What stinks? This weekend I went out and purchased a bag of Primal Turkey & Sardine flavor. I have been wanting to try Primal for a while since they offer so many other flavor varieties. Anyhow, I thawed out the first batch for Phoebe and as I was mixing it with her distilled water I noticed the distinct smell of anal glands.I start sniffing her and think to myself, "well it's been a few months since she was expressed so it's probably time" I wipe off her butt a little just in case but continue to smell it. That's when I realize that it's the food! LOL Her food smells like her A**!
Makes sense since there are sardines in there. She seems to really love it though so I guess we'll stick with it. I might try Pheasant next and give my nose a rest

There is a small holistic pet store down the road that I got it from. They carry many varities of frozen prepared raw so I have lots to choose from.
