using you as a prop to chew on his chew toy? Rebbie is constantly putting his chew toys on me and chewing away. I move away and he slowly creeps toward me until he is right there. He is on the floor and he insists on propping his nylabone on my foot. If I leave a shirt or piece of clothing on the floor...he is on top of that chewing away. Why does he do this? Does your puggie do this? I guess I should take it as a compliment but I just don't care to have slobber all over my shoes, clothes, etc...

Tinker would like nothing better than for me to hold her nylabone when she chewed it! She's actually conned my mom and daughter into doing just that. She holds her kong ball and eggs on my husband's feet.

The timing of this thread is hilarious. My grandmother came to visit today and Ugg kept putting her toy on g'mas lap to chew. I was "complaining" about the big slobbery wet spots I get on my arms/legs from her chewing her toys ON me....that she's not happy chewing them unless they're touching me. You're not alone! :)

They're right, you aren't alone! Nano does the exact same thing. The only time it grosses me out is when he's chewing his rawhide bone, because it gets all gummy and thick slobbery- gross I know! When i'm at the computer, I have to leave one leg hanging off my chair so he can prop his toys against it haha :)

Both of my pugs will chew independently, but they both prefer it if I hold the bone for them to chew. The worst part is when the bone gets so slobbery that drool is running down onto my hand. Ick. The things we do for our pugs!

Yup, my MuShu likes to use me as a prop as well. You know, I've seen those Kong or Nylabone things that are made like a tripod of sorts. Problem is that my MuShu hates hard rubber toys or chews so I never bothered to buy her one. But the concept looks good!

Yesterday, Wally had me hold his antler for him for more than an hour, and I actually got pruney from the drool. Thankfully, Leto likes to hold his own noms in his bed.
