Default MAX did something AMAZING again.........at the seniors this time..HOW smart is this for a pug..

yesterday took in Max for a game of catch with the century club. they moved everything of the way and this is the first time Max was off leash there ...he had to catch the food they were tossing. he did great as did the seniors...some of them should have been baseball players..lol they can sure throw out.......considering the youngest was 97...their co ordiantion has to be good to throw out the food. max got into the routine and went just from one to another and started at the line again. Max is right at my side and NEVER leaves....UNTIL

a BIG HOWL and off he Goes. HE would not keep quiet. I was super embarassed until I realized that the chair that John was sitting in watching the game of catch was almost coming forward. he said he hit the wrong bottom..instead the one for the feet since it is motorized..he hid the head part instead.

managed to catch John and get him upright...... would not have noticed that if not for Max. the funny part though was MAX had no longer interest in catching food he laid and JOHNS lap and did not want to move......

funny how he sensed that and smart
I am soo proud of him
Max really is going a bit of the therapy dog routine and into the working dog routine
    amazing his sense of preception
and pride show that he is MINE too

the seniors home gave him, asked first if he could have a couple of meatballs for helping John out. Max did not turn that and John gave them to him.

all and all a great day yesterday
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........

I think what amazes me most with Max is that sixth sense that he has ...an ability to sense danger and read people so well too. one time years ago Max did some therapy work with a man that was paralized from the neck down. he was not at all intimitated with the huge wheel chair that was mortorized and he sat and listened to this man talk for an hours....... the nurse that they had full time knew more in a few hours with Max then she did in 10 years with living with this man since they injury.

another time my girlfriends ex husband got very drunk and was off balance.........Max would NOT let him out of his sight and stayed close close to him. he was also very bonded to Max most of the time too. he did not care for any dog out there in this world generally but Max somehow changed that...

he also seen a lady about to fall a couple of years ago and ran to stop her from falling and brace the fall. I had no idea she was gong down.

as max says Some got it........some don't woof.........lol
my brothers and sister have a lot of learning to do to catch up to me..hahaha
