Default TISSUE alert........and the STORY gets better and better for MAX...and the lady he saved...

so this morning this young young guy stopped here. he works for town crew here and was dressed in his apparel..lol. hard hat and all and he asked to talk to Max for a second.
took out Max on the leash
he said "Max you are one smart little dog...and you saved my grandmother...... oh my. you deserve a big kiss and a big hug. he picked up Max and gave him a hug and a kiss too. Max gave him a small kiss back.
he said he also adopted the other puggle in rescue......to the one that he parents adopted...his brother and he is also called him Max too.
his puggle looks just like a black pug with a longer snout....
he also made a donation to the all breed resue in Max name...

    so the story gets better

he said why not put an article in the paper. told him I thought about that........but with the news going all over the country with the papers do not want to see a big group of pug puppies bought in the wrong hands for the wrong reasons. explained it is NOT the PUG that saved this ladies life it is MAX... Max is his own personality......that is what special about him and yes it is great that he is a PUG too. keep it in the town and on PV where people can enjoy both Max and in town they can enjoy Max too. I have made the decision to not do this for the benefit of the breed.........I do not trust some bimboo from producing puppies and selling them since a pug saved someones life....so NO paper stardum for Max.. I truly feel my other dogs would NOT have done this for the Lady..it is the sixth sense in Max that does that.
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........

Good thinking, we don't want a "101 Dalmations" debacle.

I personally think some people might take that as all PUGS would do it......and use that for the wrong purpose to sell a dog.. there are lots of people out there that are crooked in how they sell puppies..and so on

although the story would for sure help rescue though.
what I plan on doing is letting the local rescue use the story in the success stories of the adopted puggles......that way it might benefit rescue more.

agree this has really snowballed into some very neat things
both for Max and the people involved too
    and for rescue as well

That's great. Apparently Max is something special. Pugs are life savers at times.

the cool thing in a small town the whole town knows who Max is now......if they did not before..lol.
likely others that made a donation to rescue that I have no idea about as well
when a dog saves someone in the community it has a real effect on everyone

Pat you are doing the right thing not putting it in the paper people may think all pugs would do this. God bless you and Max and the other furkids and feather kids.
