My apologies, I've been meaning to get back and post but between caring for my bunch (which also includes 3 cats and a starling), working 50-60 hrs a week, and catching a cold from this weird weather, I haven't had a chance.
I'll go over all of them rather quickly and if there are questions or requests for further info than I will elaborate LOL. I don't have any recent pictures downloaded as my desktop is out of commission at the moment...hopefully I will be able to get it fixed soon and get some more recent pictures loaded. So the pics I post are a few yrs old.

Did you go get a kennel license or do you cross your fingers that AC won't stop by? I am working on a kennel license myself. I have ten at the moment, most geriatric or special needs.
Take care,

Actually, there is no limit in my town...as long as they are licensed and cared for. AC knows how many I have and I am the first notified when a pug comes into the shelter. Funny story with Oscar...they held a drawing for him and I *know* I wrote my name in big letters on the slip of paper...after the drawing, which I *won*, I caught a glimpse of the paper...I couldn't read the name, but I know it wasn't me LOL! They just called my name because they knew I had rescues!
Actually, it was a good thing since he was diagnosed with Parvo the following day and I think he probably would have been euthanized by any of the other candidates...as I was laid off at the time, I thank God for Milwaukee Pug Rescue who stepped in and paid for his treatment!

Damn, if it weren't for the sucky weather, I might move to Michigan just for that reason! I have had up to 14 and every time I'm out and see an AC truck in the area I panic. Luckily the local shelters all know me well and we have a "don't ask, don't tell" policy between us. They call me for old dogs and pugs and if they have a favorite they need networked. But I don't like being out of regulations.
So how do YOU get time away with all of yours? I have dogs that need meds all throughout the day, some that might or might not need meds depending on how they act and have had dogs that need their bladders expressed every two hours. No one could come in and do what I do, at least without a lot of training. Even my adult kids - I wouldn't feel comfortable that they would get it right or remember what needs done. We never go anywhere for more than a few hours at a time. It's been years since hubby and I have been able to take off for a weekend or even a whole day. You?
Take care,
Lisa
