    Default Penelope's first antler

    I got Penelope her first antler. It's a tad too big and she didn't know what to do with it. I had to put it in my mouth and chew on it and she got the hang of it. Now she's having a ball with it! You all didn't tell me how expensive they are!

    Expensive yes, if bought at a pet store, but last forever. So cheaper in the long run.

    It didn't taste like much. I live in DC around lobbyists and lawyers. I don't know anyone who hunts.

    The things we do for our pugs.

    We've used sandpaper to rough up the edges and that seems to make them more tasty to the pugs.

    They do last a really long time, so the cost isn't so bad when looked at over the long term.

    next time, go online and order the split ones by the pound. The split ones are more engaging to them, because it's the core of the antler that they like best.
