    Will wonders never cease!!!
That's Awesome. It could have turned out so much worse. I sure hope the old guy has learned his lesson and keeps the pug leashed when out in the yard.

So glad this ended well! I am glad he has learned his lesson about turning him loose in the front yard with no fence or leash.

    Take care,

Oh I am so glad he got his Lucky back! I didn't sleep well thinking about this. I guess I put too many human feelings into how animals might feel. I kept thinking of all the horrible things that could be happening to him and how scared and con fussed he must be. I am so relieved and he's not even my dog. I bet that poor old guy has learned his lesson. That little puggie's name is well suited to him!

Why does bait dog for pit bulls have to be the first thing people think of? Couldn't it be possibly the dog was stolen as a pug is a pricey breed and they wanted to see if a reward was offered?

(sorry if I sound pissy, but as the owner and extreme advocate of The American pit bull terrier my defense shackles raise easily)

Actually nobody mentioned pitbulls specifically. I said 'fighting dogs' not pitbulls. But it isn't a bad comment against the pitbull breed, its a comment towards the lowlifes who choose to force train these breeds into fighting and one of the methods these lowlifes use is stolen small dogs or as someone else said 'free to good home' small pets that are used as bait dogs. I have nothing against the breed, just against the losers that choose this breed of dog for this dispicable reason. And it does happen that little pets are stolen, quite frequently by these lowlifes and used for bait.

I found an article stating that animal control found the dog wandering and he was returned
