since Max has only started to head tilt the last couple of weeks at the most ...never did it before. this week and last week is doing it at the seniors home..
some of them thought he had a stiff neck..lol said no that is the head tilt......
told them the cutest trait in the pug is the head tilt.....I LOVE LOVE it....makes me smile all the time
they said it was LIKE he was really listening to them talk..and I agree to that too..
I know some other breeds can head tilt too....but personally never seen the bulldogs do it but have seen pics of bulldogs that do a head tilt.
have you seen any other breed head tilt??
all you have to say here is where is ball, want a treat, go for a walk and you can guarantee a head tilt out of the pugs...
a high pitch voice usually gets a head tilt here too
what guarantees a head tilt at your house with the pugs?
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........
Any food word. It's like they are asking if they heard that right. Food, food, where?
Certain key words, treat, new, toy, walk. My mom's poodle used to do the head tilt.
Jackie,Mom to Robbie & Stacy my human children and Tinker my furkid.
Car ride gets Macie every time.
"bye bye" always gets a head tilt

with mine, anything u say directly to her makes her do the head tilt. there aren't any key words for her. if u carry on a conversation with her, she'll do it. she listens VERY intently to every word anyone has to say. i get so many laughs/giggles out of anyone that watches her do it. they're all like "wow - she's really listening to us, isn't she?" Yep! she loves to learn & listen. i love watching her curiosity come out in her. :)
......deeply in love with & loved by my Li'l Bit......
the Westie i'm babysitting for a few days does the head tilt almost better than my pug! he also follows me around so i've been tripping over 2 of them instead of just one.
Lola does it a lot, but she will REALLY do it if you whisper... she thinks she is missing something important!
Marci - pugmom to Lola, Bella, Hank & BIG brother Odin the English Mastiff.
I was so surprised when my Lola was head-tilting within a couple of days after I brought her home (she was really young, not quite 6 weeks old!).
Definately key words cause it...treat, her name, etc. Also, a guaranteed way is anytime I sing...lol. Apparently I have a terrible singing voice to her! ;-)
