SOMETHING fun to try on the PUGS...other breeds too..this was on TV tonight too funny

so the idea is that if you YAWN your pug/dog will yawn too.
it was a scentific experiment and actually they used a PUG to demonstrate that it works..
Yawn or pretend that you are yawning and see if you dog will yawn too.
the pugs did and sure enough got me thinking..lol and decided to try this too

keeping the pugs attention for long enough was half of the battle...lol
but they got and sure enough after a few yawns from me they were both yawning..too
it is really really funny to see this work

tried it on the bulldogs
and Bella will yawn too
but not Gus

for the funniest thing give it a try.......it takes a few yawns and the dog has to look at you to do it......

the idea was to prove that is contagious in both humans and dogs as well.......not sure about other animals..

if you yawn when talking to someone else they usually start to yawn too..

so post after you have yawned..lol

My MuShu will copy me if I yawn. But I can also get her to close one eye (wink) or flutter her eyes if I do. What a hoot!

Will try this on my Max and Jenny in the morning....they're already snuggled in the big bed for the night.
It is very interesting Pat, I know that with humans, yawns are "contagious".
Just crossed my mind....Max is blind...so will not experiment with him tomorrow.

So I called in Bubba my pit/mastiff and sure enough he yawned after my first yawn!

Yes, and the reverse...If Mz Tilly yawns I am very likely to. Then we simply must nap :) (wish it was always so easy to nap LOL)

I tried it and she just looked at me like I was an idiot. of course this was during her play time. She is busy trying to dominate the cats. She thinks she is so tough.
Oh my gosh now I can't stop yawning!!!!
