YOUNG John's Story at the SENIORS home...talked to him yesterday..

when I first went to the seniors home last July..everyone kept saying to me make sure you go and meet John. he was really involved with horses and such......and the story went on to tell me that he got in a bad accident and so on......and this is sorta how he got to where he is now......lots of empty spaces not fillled in. Well did go and meet JOHN..infact asked about John and so on........but it was the wrong JOHN..the other John is 93 and this John is 67 so not sure how me and Max got that mixed up..lol at the time.

I saw young John out at the grocery store sitting and reading a paper. stopped to talk to him for a minute. he said that he enjoys getting out and meeting people. that is why he is in the seniors home. he used to live with family after his bad car accident in unniversity...but now wanted his freedom. he can come and go as he wants at the seniors and can walk everywhere. he is very well known in town.

he did want to tell me that Max did something for the other John...that can not be explained. he said he sees JOHN working everyday since Max was in last Friday. I told him yea they have a great BOND. we talked about the inpact of a therapy dog for the residents there. young John said he is the best thing that happened to them there since it opened. so that is a big accomplishment for Max.
today I go and see older John with Max for the morning.

I am sure they have no idea my name is Pat there..hahaha
