rather from there mom..and dad..lol.
they dropped me off a easter lilly 8 blooms that are not opened yet
and a small box of chocolates and some treats for the pugs and gus too.
they are estatic to see the SPARKLE in their pugs eyes now that they know some sign language
they took them for a vet visit yesterday and the vet was shocked at the difference......from rescue NOW to this.....lol
the vet was happy to see how they have come along........
it was has been a LONG haul to get them to this point though.......found out both pugs were deaf last July..
I bet a million dollars would not buy the two pugs NOW though.
so she dropped off something
did not need anything told her that
have helped lots of deaf dogs and do not expect anything for it
it is one of my passions in life...
but still nice to be remembered..
special Thanks to Max and Gus for helping out these pugs.......really does help if another dog can be there...most of the ones that I have helped have been over the net or on the phone but few of them have been local too.
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........
it is hard on a deaf animal to know what is expected of them from their owners
and even harder for pugs that are out to please their owners
these 2 are doing great though...........funny how a few hand signs works wanders
and the pugs do have a sparkle in their eyes...was not there the first time I met them
she also said they are playing more and more with the family members now too
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........
Lovely!

well better to help these deaf dogs that have them in rescue
if you can help them before that point of going there.......most of them can stay in their homes
people first reaction to a deaf dog is what do I do now.......and then panic and then a few hands signs and all is much better
all dogs will loose some hearing as they get older too
most of the close to 30 deaf dogs now in the last few years have been born that way though......
the dog knows no difference
and the vet says it is the owner that has to get used to it........and learn a new way to communicate to the dog
felt especially with the pugs so eager to please this must have been really rough on them when the owners had no idea the pugs were deaf.......poor things would not know what is expected of them or anything.
these 2 pugs are really driven by food........lol so made the hand signs much better to teach
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........
