Bailey and the Big Guy

Today we pulled a senior male, the shelter gave him a kindly estimated age of 12, from the Escondido shelter.

A very big boy and overweight to boot, but he stole my heart. He looked like the male counterpart of my Bailey. I would swear they were littermates. Same size (except he's overweight), build and longish body, same face, same eyes, ears and ear set. Same funny seal bark to get attention or food.

He spent the day at our house waiting for his foster to get home from work. Such a cute, sweet love. Hard to let him go.

Once he and Bailey passed in the hallway and stopped for a second and sniffed noses, then continued on a few steps...then they both stopped and looked over their shoulders as if they were saying "Do I know you from somewhere?" then on they went.
