We Like Who We Like - by Zoe
Zoe here. I have noticed that there is only one other black pug here, Bear. He is not well liked by the other pugs....maybe it's a racial thing, he rarely is invited onto pug piles and few will cuddle him. I have decided I like him and allow him into my bed:
Sometimes I like Sammy, the old man with one eye, and I will lay with him, but sometimes I bite him. Women are fickle creatures, you know.
I DO NOT like Dickson and Bugsy and Jakey at all! If I happen to see them, even from across the room, I am prone to defiantly lift my little gray chin and start to growl, fixing the evil diva stare upon them with unwavering malevolence, immediately followed by barking and chasing them down as fast as my little messed up body can propel me. This results in the lady lifting me up amid my defiant barks and growls and depositing me in the crate to consider my next move in solitude.
I am enjoying my new pink leather collar and the matching pink and rhinestone tag that says "diva" with the pink rhinestone encrusted silver tag engraved with my name and phone number, in appropriate elaborate and feminine script. I have the staff lady well trained already and am enjoying big meals with fish kibble, canned tripe and chunks of rare beef shank seared quickly in garlic. At night time I have secured the big green fluffy blanket by the lady's side of the big bed and if it is cool, she covers me or gives me a heater. I am certainly not disabled.....my body may not work well, but I have manipulated my world so that is never a factor....I am queen. Now I just have to figure out how to break that news to Peaches.....she frightens me a bit.
