they were saying even if the dog is deaf and blind........the sense of smell is a dog most important scent..
the dog they were showing had never used his nose........he was always taught on sight only
the sense in smell in pug is the BEST
I have seen Zues go and sniff out a ball he had hidden months ago
Max can smell any food ......lol
he also uses the sense of smell to find other things too

Gus can not survive without his sense of smell...........being deaf even more so
he nose is always twitching....lol
