On Monday, I needed some dog food and stopped by a pet store on my way home. This store was off the beaten track but I didn't have a PetSmart or anything like that around.
I walked into the store and saw dog cages in the back of the room. I made a bee-line straight to the cages-- and found that the store was selling puppies. I know...I know...you should never buy from a pet store because of puppy mills but when I took one look at the baby pug looking so said in the cage, I asked to see him.
The young girl put me in a room and I was done!! I called my husband and said I am NOT letting them put this puppy back in that cage. Needless to say, I brought home a 3 1/2 month old baby boy home with me and we named him "Max".
I can tell right off the bat that he is going to have some issues--his little nose is really smushed in so I think he will need to have some sort of nose surgery eventually. I take him to my vets tomorrow evening and I'm praying that he is healthy.
I would be lying if I didn't say that I am worried and scared that something is wrong with him but there is no way I was leaving without that puppy.

Oh, he is soo cute!!You saved him! I don't believe in coincidences, you were meant to save him!
Jackie,Mom to Robbie & Stacy my human children and Tinker my furkid.
He's very cute. I hope his Vet visit brings good news for you both and he has no serious issues.. I saw his pics on your other post. He sure could use a good nail clipping.
I've also read that sometimes their little noses will open more as they get older, so fingers crossed this will be the case.

I believe in fate and I am saying some prayers!!
Well, some things can't be avoided-----your heart would have broken leaving him behind. Now we need lots of pics.
I promise I will be posting a lot of pics... he is too cute not to.
He's adorable! Congratulations!

He's adorable!!!! Just because he comes from a pet store doesn't mean that he'll have problems!!!!!!!
As for the nose....from what I can see...it looks normal! IF the vet thinks they're small......don't do anything til about 9 mo old unless he cannot play long enough or is blowing bubbles out of his nose!
Enjoy!!!!
Oh I hope he's alright but if not I know you will care for him. He is absolutely adorable. His face is precious.
May we all be kind and full of love
I could not have left him either you did the right thing by saving him hope the vet visit turns out well. Can't wait to watch him grow here on pv.
