I too don't seem to get too much hair from the furminator. Feel like I might be doing it wrong

We us a knock-off from Target. Works great. We only do one or two passes then clean it out. Gets filled up pretty quickly.

I think it really depends on the undercoat -- Wally doesn't have one, and it gets nothing off of him. We actually hand strip his coat, like a terrier.

Is it possible for a Fawn pug to be single coat?

It's weird because my family is noticing that our boy is nice and fluffy and our girl has short course hair

I use a furminator as well
Ellen also sent me a different one at christmas
forget the brand and it is easier to handle

My plan for this year is too ..take the pugs to be groomed......and they can blow out that undercoat and such........and then again in the fall. it is supposed to really help with shredding.......know alot of people that do this with their dogs
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........

It is possible for a fawn to be single coated, but I think it's unusual.
