For those questioning whether to get a furminator

It's spring!

Look what about 15 minutes with a furminator accomplished! Almost no hair came off in the bath the next day, and now the furniture is staying dark brown....

Is there something comparable to the furminator that is cheaper? My hubby says no way, too expensive!

Ours is actually a knock-off, same build at 1/3 the price.

I've had a Furminator for years, and if you use it after a bath, you can make a whole new Pug with all the hair!

so how often do you use it to keep the shedding to a minimum? daily, once a week, twice a week?

Leto must feel like a brand new dog. How brave are you to do it in your house. Now start knitting little Toby his 1st halloween costume, I think he would look cute as a pug.

We use it once a week to 2 weeks for maximum effectiveness, but with all the excitement it had been over a month. The cleaning lady was coming, so I didn't worry too much about the hair inside. (I vacuumed pretty well myself, and with the hard wood, it's really not so bad.) It's also still about 5 degrees out... a little cold to be sitting on the lawn.
