I have 2 cuddler/snugglers. It's awesome until a hotflash happens!
My hubby says when I leave the house and he is home with them, they both run around whining and staring at the door I walked out of til they poop themselves out and go sit on the couch and stare and wait. Same thing happens when I get into the shower!
98% of the time I love it! LOL

Mz Tilly loves me. When other dogs come she claims ME, when we go outside she wants to sit on my lap, when it's bedtime I am the one she asks to carry upstairs (I know she likes to face the left and hates facing right), She is not much of a snuggler with me, but this morning she was up early and I convinced her to lay next to me and put her head on the pillow next to mine, she stayed that way for over 30 minutes...a record! She usually doesn't bother to get up when me or my housemate come home, she knows that we'll come see her :) She always either on the couch or her throne.
This sounds weird, but my Pugs always liked to get their backs under my neck when playing with them on the floor. I think they liked to feel the vibrations when I talked to them. For some strange reason (and Pugs are a bit strange, at times), when I talked to them like that, it seemed to strengthen the bond with them. I know....strange, but true!
Sounds like love to me too! I know my Sunny loves me by the way she often stares at me lovingly (if she was human it would almost border on creepy how long she gazes at me), how she usually wants to be snuggling connected to me somehow, and the greeting she gives me whenever I come home. What really cemented it for me was when I had to travel for a long weekend and when I picked her up from my parents she went absolutely bananas and was making the weirdest seal pup bark/noises as she squirmed around me. I think given the opportunity to explore off leash most dogs would go off and see what fun is out there. Sunny's like that but she always circles back to me in the end because I'm her home base.
Problem with Mz Tilly is she gets so focused on what she is going for I think if she ever really got going she would be long gone before she stopped and went HUH where am I?
It's like when I was snorkeling, I was following a sting ray on the bottom, next thing I knew I was WAY out from the shore and already tired, 25 minutes later I got back to the beach, Mz Tilly doesn't know how close she came to having to find a new dad.
Smidgen, here. No, I do not love the old woman. I resent her sleeping in my bed. Last night I pitched a huge fit about how sharing the blanket went down, and broke a flash light by dropping it on the ground. We will see how much she has learned this evening, but I don't hold out much hope.
Li'l SCREAMS when i first walk in the door after being gone to work or wherever for awhile. she jumps all over the place, almost as high as 3 ft! and she cuddles up to me when i'm laying down, either sleeping against my butt, all curled up, or at the top of my head, on my pillows. she has to be touching me at all times when we are laying down. if i'm watching tv, she's either laying on my tummy, or looped across my side, when i'm lying down on the sofa. she can't ever be out of a room with me. heaven forbid i even go pee by myself! my poor bathroom door has all kinds of scratches on it from when i try to sneak in to use the restroom all alone. LOL
If I even shift position on the couch in the slightest, both pugs are immediately jumping up (from a dead sleep and assuming I'm getting up) and off the couch waiting to see where they can follow me!![]()
