We've finally made it through the screening process for the nearby rescue and so now all that remains is finding the right pug!

Haha I've had that pillow for over 10 years now! And I got it randomly at a Claire's. I don't know why they had pug pillows there. The pillow's floated back and forth between my sister and me, and our dogs haven't had a chance to demolish it...yet. If I ever see it again, or something similar to it, I will let PVers know!

Thanks Chris! I am taking in all the advice I can get and appreciated everyone's posts on my last thread asking about whether to get a second pug. I'm working with Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue. They've been very good about getting a good feel for Sunny and my home situation so hopefully we'll find a good match. Some of the fosters even allow for a 1 week trial period to see how the pugs interact before officially adopting. And I'll definitely have Sunny meet the new pug in advance. I'm in no rush so I just want to find the best fit for me and Sunny, and the new pug. So for now we're waiting and looking and hoping! Until then I give her free reign to cuddle with my pug pillow as much as she wants haha!

Aww that picture is too cute! I wish you and Sunny luck in finding your new pug! We'll hopefully be starting the adoption process in a couple months time, and i'll be looking for all the advice and stories you have to offer :)
